Buffalo Fuzz Celebrates Two-Year Anniversary of Debut Self-Titled LP

It’s hard for us to capture the moment when celebrating any type of anniversary whether it be personal or business. Minneapolis, Minnesota, blues-based, two-piece band Buffalo Fuzz did so nostalgically in light of their self-titled LP’s second-year on the market.

Lead guitarist, Jared Zachary, posted this heartfelt message on his Twitter account Monday.

A simple behind the scenes photo of what would be the cover of their first LP.

Since the release, the band has seen a tremendous amount of success. The blues rock group has initially received positive reviews for their heavy riffs and gritty lyrics. Unexpected tragedy fell upon the band when drummer Jake Allen passed away earlier this month.

Using that touching image, Zachary highlights what an anniversary can represent. The picture shows the highs of a time well passed, but also the lows of tragedy and loss as life moves forward.

Zachary has stated previously that a second album will be released in the spring, but it will fall on a much different note than the first.
